The Southwest Virginia Criminal Justice Training Academy will be sponsoring four (4) Legal Updates Training Sessions at the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office on July 14 – 15, 2026.

There will be two sessions conducted on July 14th:

8 am – 12 pm and 1 pm- 5 pm

There will be two sessions conducted on July 15th:

8 am – 12 pm and 1 pm- 5 pm

(Each session will be the same so you only need to attend one session).

This training will be taught by the Tazewell County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office.

Dress Code: The Dress code is business casual. No jeans, shorts, or T-shirts.

In-service–  Four (4) Legal Hours of In-Service Credit will be awarded.
