June 22 Legal Updates Training

The Southwest Virginia Criminal Justice Training Academy and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting  Legal Updates Classes on Thursday, June 15, 2023 and also on Thursday, June 22, 2023.This training will be held in the Washington County Sheriff’s Office (EOC) Training Room.

The training will be taught by the Washington County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office.

Class dates and times are as follows and each session is limited to 40 officers:

Legal Updates: 

Thursday, June 15, 2023 – 8:00 am – 12:00 pm 

Thursday, June 22, 2023 – 8:00 am – 12:00 pm 

Parking is available on the side of the building upon driving through the main gate and the (EOC) Training Room is accessible by entering through the side door of the main building.

Legal Hours of in-service credit will be awarded to each participant.

The dress code for each training session is business casual.
