Emergency Pursuit and Response Driving Considerations

The Southwest Virginia Criminal Justice Training Academy will be sponsoring a training session on Emergency Pursuit and Response Driving Considerations at the Bluefield Police Department. The training will be conducted by Justin Presson with VAcorp.

This program is designed to reduce officer related accidents associated with emergency operations in response and pursuit situations. Training topics will include issues regarding liability, case law, negligence, and general safety practices associated with emergency and pursuit operations.

The course will be offered on July 30 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm and again on July 31 from  1:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
