Cultural Diversity Training at Washington County Sheriff’s Office

June 13 Cultural Diversity Training

The Southwest Virginia Criminal Justice Training Academy and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting  Cultural Diversity Training on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 and also on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.This training will be held in the Washington County Sheriff’s Office (EOC) Training Room.

The training will be taught by the Washington County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office.

Class dates and times are as follows and each session is limited to 40 officers:

Cultural Diversity: 

Tuesday, June 13, 2023 – 10:00 am – 12:00 pm 

Tuesday, June 20, 2023 – 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Parking is available on the side of the building upon driving through the main gate and the (EOC) Training Room is accessible by entering through the side door of the main building.

Cultural Diversity Hours of in-service credit will be awarded to each participant in each session they attend.

The dress code for each training session is business casual.
