VCQB 2-Day Pistol November 2023

2 – Day Pistol Vehicle Close Quarter Battle (VCQB) Training

Vehicle Close Quarter Battle (VCQB) is an accelerated shooting class focused on shooting in, around, from, over and under vehicles. Students will learn cover and concealment options using various vehicles. Training will be instructed by certified Centrifuge Training LLC instructors.

 Equipment Required

• Handgun with at least 3 magazines (5 if single stack) and magazine pouch.
• Holster must attach via the belt (paddle holsters are not allowed).  Holsters must provide an active or passive retention device and be able to keep the holster in place while running or moving in and out of awkward positions.
• 400 rounds handgun ammo
• A tourniquet is mandatory.  An Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) is recommended.
• Cleaning kit and gun lube.
• Eye protection and electronic ear protection.
• Long sleeve shirt, gloves, knee pads are mandatory.
• Full duty belt / tactical loadout (your normal work setup).
• Notepad, ink pen and permanent marker.
• Water and snacks.
• Simunitions will be used for force-on-force drills.  Students may bring their own equipment to use.

Class is limited to 15 seats.

Fee:  There is no fee for member agencies, $200.00 for non-members.

In-Service: Career Development hours will be given for this training.

Registration: Member agencies register through TRACER, non-member agencies complete a registration form and forward to the academy via e-mail jnash@svcjta.com.
